The Opportunity
HammondCare’s Respite Cottages provide short-term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. As a Casual Specialised Carer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering personalised care and creating a welcoming, home-like environment.

- 7.15am-14.45 - Morning shift
- 14.45 - 21.45- Afternoon shift
- 21.30- 07.45- Night shift
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including grooming and hygiene
- Deliver care in accordance with individual care plans
- Support and care for guests during overnight or extended stays
- Promote guest dignity and independence through daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate changes in care professionally
What do you need to apply?
- No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is an advantage
- Available to work across our Wahroonga & Terrey Hill sites
- First Aid certificate desirable
- Empathy and compassion are a must
- We provide job training as long as you have the willingness and desire to learn
- Good administrative and computer skills, including the use of a smartphone
- A strong team player, who can communicate professionally changes in care, complete all documentation, whilst maintaining confidentiality.
